thanks to Captain Robert Anderson, Utah [USA]
" My department has been using photogrammetry to
map major collision and homicide scenes for over 4-years.
We have recently changed to the new iWitness software and
in my opinion, it is the best, law enforcement photogrammetry
software available.
I have trained over 300 officers in this
program and the iWitness software is much more robust, easier
to train individual officers with basic to intermediate computer
skills, and much faster to complete projects, with much better
quality." |

PhotoModeler is a powerful software product that calculates
measurements and constructs 3D models from your photographs
simply and easily.
Photomodeler allows you to build a complete
3D landscape scene or vehicles from photos which can be exported
out as dxf files to be used in your favorite CAD program. |

"We recently purchased Photo Modeler Pro v4.0 and
it seems to have allot of potential. The free lite version
is worth downloading to review but it has limitations on the
number of photos and points you can use. Photo Modeler is literally
a god send when it comes to building something from picture
evidence, especially if that is all you have to build from!
It takes a while to adjust and get used to using the program
but it is fairly straight forward and easy to use." |
